AIM Congratulates Kevin Brady on Selection as House Ways and Means Committee ChairNovember 4, 2015
WASHINGTON, DC – American Innovation Matters, a coalition of companies pushing for changes to US international tax rules, today congratulated Congressman Kevin Brady on his selection as Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee. AIM spokesperson Lisa Camooso Miller issued the following statement:
“Kevin Brady has been a champion of tax reform, and we look forward to working with him and the committee on addressing the urgent need to overhaul our nation’s international tax rules. In the past week alone, there’s been more news about American companies being acquired by foreign companies. Unfortunately, news like this will become more typical unless Congress takes quick action to overhaul America’s international tax laws with policies that promote innovation and research. ”
